Valencia Qualifying Value

I’ll be taking it softly-softly this weekend, as the F1 circus moves onto a new venue in Valencia for the European Grand Prix. For all that the track is billed as a ‘street circuit’, the simulations and footage I have seen thus far, remind me more of Albert Park in Melbourne than Monte Carlo, and for that reason, I think we can look forward to a reasonably wide-open race. As far as wagering goes, I’m going to stick with Qualifying at this stage, and have a few small punts on three of the less obvious candidates. Continue reading…

Sporting Index has an interesting approach to the Fastest Lap market. Rather than produce a quote for every driver, they price up the main protagonists [in their opinion] and then group the remaining thirteen drivers as ‘the field’. Continue reading…

Bahrain Outsiders: Trulli and Rosberg

Jarno Trulli and Nico Rosberg are a couple of drivers at decent prices that I want to keep on the right side of this weekend, particularly in the qualifying and fastest lap markets. I am going to wait until after tomorrow’s sessions to decide on how to play the race, but others already keen on these two have picked up some great prices. Continue reading…
